Chelsea Handler wasn't going to take any disrespect from Piers Morgan during his failed CNN show.
While conducting an interview with the late night host on "Piers Morgan Live," the show's host decided to send out Twitter posts during commercial breaks rather than be attentive to Handler. When the show returned, Morgan brought up the social media site, to which Handler pointed out how rude he was to her.
"You're a terrible interviewer," Handler told the CNN show host.
"Well, you just weren't keeping my attention," Morgan fired back.
Morgan's comment received a quick response of Handler, who went in on her digs to the failed show host.
"That's not my problem...this is your show," Handler told Morgan. "You have to pay attention to the guests that you invited on your show...it doesn't matter how interesting I am. You signed up for this show."
Morgan couldn't argue with Handler's statement, so he quickly changed the subject back to Twitter, asking the comedian about her own tweets. However, in true Handler fashion, the funny woman did get the last word when Morgan asked if she could go back and do a moment in her life over again.
"It would be spending this hour differently," Handler told Morgan, quickly bursting into laughter afterwards.
Handler went on to say she doesn't have any regrets, and she always picks herself up from the tough spots in life and keeps moving on. (Watch Handler's interview with Morgan in the video below)
CNN announced the cancellation of "Piers Morgan Live" on Feb. 24 after the show's ratings severely dropped.
"Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it," Morgan told The New York Times. "That's run its course and Jeff and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me."
