L’Wren Scott Funeral: Mick Jagger, Small Group of Family and Friends to Attend Fashion Designer’s Service; Sister Still Banned

According to the New York Post, the funeral for fashion designer L'Wren Scott will take place today (Mar. 25) in Los Angeles. The service will be small and extremely private. The New York Daily News reports that Scott's longtime boyfriend Mick Jagger and only a select few of family and Hollywood stars will be in attendance.

The funeral will take place at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and will be on lockdown with extra tight security throughout the final farewell. Scott, 47, was found dead in her Manhattan apartment eight days ago. A coroner ruled her death as suicide.

"It will be an intimate service for close family and friends to pay their respects to L'Wren," a source told the Daily News.

Reportedly guests will arrive by a car to tents that have been set up around the gravesite. Following Scott's death, Jagger has been staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills were reports said his children were trying to comfort him. Recently, he briefly walked out onto the balcony of the hotel looking sad and distraught.

There were reports that the rocker was having an extremely difficult time dealing with the sudden loss. There has been a lot of family drama surrounding the funeral after Scott's sister, Jan Shane, told media that she was banned from attending the service.

A source told the Post that Shane and Scott got into a nasty argument six years ago after the death of their mother and they haven't spoken since. Their brother Randall Bambrough reportedly told Shane she was not welcome to attend the L.A. funeral.

"I have been frozen out of my own sister's funeral," she said, The Mirror reports.

"Randy won't talk to me or call me about the arrangements or my hopes that L'Wren be buried beside mom and dad," she said. "I am very angry about this and I cannot get answers from anybody. It is clear I will not be able to attend the funeral or service in Los Angeles - and it has left me heartbroken."
