"Assassin's Creed 5" is rumored to be a two-part adventure for Ubisoft with many sites speculating about its release date.
The gaming studio has yet to announce "Assassin's Creed: Unity" official launch, but the Huffington Post U.K. has given their "best guess" for the PS4 and Xbox One exclusive title.
"Since AC4 was released on October 29, 2013, and Ubisoft will likely be targeting a similar date, we'd suggest October 28, 2014 (which is also a Tuesday) as a likely candidate," according to HuffPost.
However, Amazon has listed "Assassin's Creed: Unity" will be released on Dec. 31. Before fans get too excited, typically games that have yet to be assigned a release date are listed with Dec. 31.
Ubisoft has yet to confirm the second title rumored to launch this year allegedly title "Assassin's Creed: Comet." Kotaku reports "Assassin's Creed: Comet" is rumored to be the PS3 and Xbox 360 exclusive.
Players will reportedly get to play as a Templar in "Comet," which is allegedly a direct sequel to the events that occurred in "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag." Haythom Kenway and Adewale are allegedly expected to make an appearance in "Comet."
"GameBlog's report claims that Comet will take place in and around 1758; that it will star a sailor named Shay who betrays the captain of his ship; and that it's set on the Atlantic Ocean," according to Kotaku.
"We haven't been able to confirm all of those plot details, and some of it appears to be speculation by GameBlog," the gaming site continued, "but people familiar with Comet tell us that this fall's last-gen Assassin's Creed will indeed be set in North America and star a protagonist named Shay, who is a member of the Templars, the assassin-hating order that has traditionally served as primary antagonist in the Assassin's Creed games."
