Taylor Swift is open to becoming close friends with Selena Gomez again as long as her break up with Justin Bieber is for good, according to Hollywood Life.
Insiders close to Swift told the gossip site the country pop singer reached out to Gomez after hearing she was going through a difficult time and abandoning her toxic relationships.
"As far as I know Taylor and Selena still haven't spoken, as of a few days ago they hadn't. But Taylor's hopeful that they will eventually be friends again," the source told Hollywood Life.
"She's open to it, she misses Selena, but she's not interested in being friends with her if Justin is still in her life," the source added. "Taylor thinks he's like an addiction for Selena and she's not going to enable her. This is tough love, but for sure Taylor still loves Selena, she always will."
However, Gomez allegedly hasn't been returning Swift's calls. The Hollywood Gossip reports Gomez thinks Swift is "too boring" and isn't in the "mood" to hang out with her again.
"Taylor hasn't talked to Selena since she started hanging out with Justin and Kylie and Kendall Jenner," the inside source told Hollywood Gossip. "On Selena's side of this, she wasn't too happy with Taylor Swift for befriending Lorde, especially after Lorde called her music out...Selena was also just so damn bored with Taylor. She didn't want to bake cookies or paint anymore. She was just so done with it."
Gomez recently deleted all of her Instagram posts with the Jenner sisters and unfollowed her ex-boyfriend. Even with Swift reaching out to her, Gomez allegedly doesn't care to hang out with her again.
"When Taylor heard she was going through hard times, and stopped following all her friends on Instagram, she called her and emailed her," the inside source told Hollywood Gossip. "Taylor has reached out to Selena a couple of times recently, but Selena isn't ready to be friends with her again. Selena is just not in the mood."
