Ubisoft might be dealing with their very own real-life hackers with their upcoming "Watch Dogs" title.
According to Complex, "anonymous posters" released videos of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gameplay on Ubisoft's official forums. The anonymous users also posted game spoilers and reviews.
However, Ubisoft took to their official "Watch Dogs" twitter to confirm to fans all the "real" reviews of the game will be released on May 27.
In other "Watch Dogs" news, , Lead Writer Kevin Shortt recently explained to Ubisoft's blog how the morality meter works in the upcoming title.
"The media will still report on you, but maybe not in such a negative tone," said in the blog. "It will be more questioning. Is he a good guy? Is he a hero? Is he a terrorist? They are going to start raising these kinds of questions."
The new morality system is a little more complicated that your typical "good guy, bad guy" meter. According to Short, your good or bad deeds don't affect your relationships with your allies, as they have a deeper understanding of you than the general public.
"The reputation system isn't really a good-versus-bad kind of system," Shortt explained. "We really wanted it to just be the citizens reflecting back on you and what you're doing so that you think about it more. The game doesn't suddenly tilt one way if you get a bad reputation. It doesn't make it exponentially harder. It should just make you consider your actions and what you're doing."
"Watch Dogs" will be released for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on May 27. You can check out the official synopsis for the title below:
