More than Siths and rogue Stormtroopers will allegedly make an appearance in "Star Wars Episode 7."
The Latino Review reports insiders claim Mandalorians "mercenaries" will be fighting against the Jedi in the upcoming film.
"[Group] of mercenaries would be antagonizing our Jedi heroes," according to The Latino Review. "Reports from set claim to have spotted some black and silver/chrome troopers. We haven't been able to confirm if these troopers were Mandalorians or just a new group of Imperial Storm Troopers."
Speaking of silver troopers, MarkStarWars.net reports "Game of Thrones" actress Gwendoline Christie might be taking on the role of a rogue stormtrooper.
The rumor came from an IMDb forum, but the source claims to know someone in the costume department making silver armor specifically for Chrisite. You can read more about the rumor on the "Star Wars" fan site here.
Another "Star Wars" rumor that's making the rounds is a possible appearance by Tom Cruise. The Sun reports the "Mission Impossible" actor recently spoke to J.J. Abrams in about making a cameo in the film.
"Tom [Cruise] has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ [Abrams] and some other people with the production over the weekend," a source told The Sun. "On Saturday evening, five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel. JJ produced "Mission Impossible 5" and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance."
The "Star Wars" production hasn't confirmed the appearance of Mandalorians, Cruise or Christie's role in the upcoming movie. The film stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong'o, John Boyega, Adam Driver and more.
"Star Wars Episode 7" will be released to theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
