Gal Gadot has yet to film an Wonder Woman scenes for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice."
Rumors surfaced online claiming the actress finished filming her scenes barely two months in the production. Reports claimed the actress had a small cameo in the film with little screen time.
"Her role as Wonder Woman is rumored to be smaller, almost like an extended cameo," Batman-News reports. "Since shooting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last month, Gadot has returned to her home country of Israel to shoot a fashion commercial and now she's working on a new project."
However, director Zack Snyder cleared up the rumors about Gadot's role in the film. In an interview with USA Today, Snyder confirmed he has not filmed any scenes with Wonder Woman and the actress was getting "buff and ripped" for her role.
Snyder admitted he wasn't expecting the fans to be excited for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" years before its release, but understands the hype.
"You can talk all you want about other superhero movies, but it's Batman and Superman, let's just be honest," Snyder said. "I don't know how you get bigger than that."
Fans are also excited to see Wonder Woman's new costume. JoBlo reports sources close to the production claim Gadot's costume will be "traditional, yet sleeker." She will have the red bust, blue leather skirt, silver cuffs and golden tiara.
Sources claimed her outfit will look like an "Amazon warrior princess" and she won't have the legging-jacket combo from DC Comics' New 52 revamp. Fans can also expect the golden lasso and along with a rumored arsenal that may include a shield, sword and spear.
JoBlo also reports Wonder Woman's reason for visiting Metropolis will be "intentionally vague, but she will be an important part of the next "Justice League" movie.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
