Ariana Grande and Big Sean’s rumored new relationship isn’t sitting well with ex-fiancé Naya Rivera, according Hollywood Life.
Rivera, 27, is allegedly upset Sean, 26, is dating the girl she believed was ruining their relationship. Inside sources claim Rivera accused Sean of cheating on her with Grande, but he always told her they were just friends.
“Naya was trying to keep it together and have fun at the concert but she was really upset because of the news about Sean and Ariana. She kept bringing it up,” the source told Hollywood Life. “It’s her worst nightmare because she was always sure that Sean was cheating on her with Ariana, they fought about that a lot.”
However, Rivera was the one who moved on from Sean quickly after their engagement fell apart. Rivera married Ryan Dorsey, 30, in an intimate beach wedding on July 19. Rumors quickly circulated claiming Rivera used everything from her planned nuptials with Sean.
Rivera’s alleged insecurities and jealously issues were reportedly the demise of their relationship. However, the “Glee” actress feels her feelings about Sean cheating are now validated.
“Sean would tell her she was crazy and jealous, he swore to her that Ariana was just a friend, he even said she was like a little sister,” the source said. “Naya feels like this is proof that she was right all along and Sean was hooking up with Ariana. She doesn’t want him back, but it’s still a huge wound and she’s hurt and she’s angry.”
Grande and Sean have not confirmed a romantic relationship, but a source told E! News the two are very much a couple.
"[Sean and Ariana] have been friends since they made the song together,” the insider told E! News. “They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close. They are both doing great.”
