Wendy Williams proved she was a woman of her word when she returned from her talk show’s summer break to make good on her bet.
Back in May, Williams claimed Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage wouldn’t last more than 72 days, which is the length of her union with NBA player Kris Humphries.
The Kardashian-West union has lasted more than 100 days, forcing Williams to eat her crow. The talk show host invited a gourmet chef to cook a crow gumbo, which she ate while adorned with a crow bib.
The verdict? Williams described the crow as “not so bad.”
Kardashian and West seem to be going strong in their marriage. West recently made headlines after a video surfaced of the rapper reportedly telling two people in wheelchairs to stand up or else he couldn’t continue the show.
Kardashian took to her Instagram account to defend her husband.
“What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media,” Kardashian wrote. “Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair.”
West took a moment during a show in Austrailia on Monday to address the video. The rapper expressed his frustration with the media allegedly attempting to demonize him.
“What I want you to do is I want you to run the video everyone’s talkin’ about where I so-called screamed at somebody and everything,” West told the concert crowd. “I want you to run that, right, since this is such big media-press-news and everything that obviously they trying to demonize me for.”
“It’s like, ‘Welcome to today’s news, ladies and gentlemen.’ We’ve got Americans getting killed on TV, kids getting killed every weekend in Chicago, unarmed people getting killed by police officer.”
