'X-Men: Apocalypse' Spoilers: M-Underground Website Revealing Details About Film's Plot?

“X-Men: Apocalypse” might be dropping hints about the direction of the film using two mutant-themed websites.

CinemaBlend pointed out in a feature the “X-Men: Days of Future Past” site is advertising to new websites: the TandemInitiative.com and M-Underground.com. Though they seem relatively normal, the information available on the M-Underground website might be a huge teaser.

“Through their own investigative journalism,” CinemaBlend reports, “it has been revealed that the late Senator Ted Kennedy's plane crash in 1964, as well as his ‘original’ draft of the speech he gave at the 1978 Democratic National Convention, are both tied to his mutant abilities in some sort of secret history that might explain the Kennedy Curse as a mutant hate crime of the largest scale.”

The M-Underground could slowly start to unveil the events that occurred during 1970s after Wolverine was able to change the events between Mystique and Bolivar Trask, leading to the development of the horrific Sentinels.

“I think I'm losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that's kind of all I know,” McAvoy told HuffPost.

Unfortunately, the actor couldn’t provide any more details about the production, as writer Simon Kinberg is currently working on the script. However, McAvoy claimed he should be getting an “Apocalypse” update soon.

"I got an email from the [producer/writer Simon Kinberg] who informed me he was getting dead excited about stuff, but he didn't want to divulge anything for a couple of weeks, so I really don't know," he said.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” is slated to hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
