Taylor Swift might just be the best Santa Claus ever. The 25-year-old pop star is known for being extra sweet to her adoring fans - called Swifties - but she made their Christmas extra special when she personally showered some fans with gifts, acccording to ABC News.
Back in November, die-hard Swift fans began flooding social media with pictures of gifts the "Blank Space" singer had mailed to them. On Dec. 31, she compiled their reactions and her preparations into a cute video she posted on YouTube.
"2014 was the year of many wonderful things for Taylor and her fans. The RED Tour played its last show in Asia, the 1989 era began and a new gift giving symbol became widely known," the message on the video read. "Shortly after the massively successful release of 1989, fans on social media began to experience another phenomenon. After something that became known as Tay-lurking, whereupon every detail of a fan's likes, job, whereabouts was studied intently... A single Santa emoji would appear on their socials. From one Taylor Swift."
"Large Fedex boxes began to appear on the doorsteps of certain fans in what became tenderly referred to as 'Swiftmas,'" the message continued.
Fans received robes, makeup and even a porcelain tea set from Tokyo. Each box also came with a handwritten card from the singer.
"I thought of you when I saw this in Japan because you drink tea using this. Or... whatever else you feel like drinking. Lol #neverforget," Swift wrote to @misshaileyy, who included a photo of her new tea set.
"My friend Taylor sent me... early Christmas presents... and I am dead," @alyssassyla wrote on Twitter.
Two-thousand fourteen was an amazing year for Swift. She released her fifth studio album "1989" in October and sold more than 1.28 million copies in the first week, making it the first album to go platinum in 2014. Now the record has sold more than 3.66 million copies and surpassed the "Frozen" soundtrack as the top-selling album of 2014.
