Bobbi Kristina Brown's longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is reportedly begging the Houston and Brown families to let him visit his comatose girlfriend. Gordon was banned from Emory Hospital in Atlanta because he reportedly got into an argument with Bobbi Kristina's family.
There have also been reports that some family members blame Gordon for the 21-year-old being found unresponsive in a filled bathtub on Jan. 31. Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been in a medically induced coma for the past three weeks with conflicting reports about her current condition.
On Wednesday, Gordon's lawyers, Randall Kessler and Joe Habachy, released a statement and said the 22-year-old was asking the family to lift the ban and allow him to see "the one he loves."
"Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively," Kessler and Habachy said in a statement to the Daily News. "He has respected the family's wishes, and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."
Police have launched a criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina's case to determine what led to her unconsciousness, having questioned Gordon and family friend Max Lomas several times. Lomas previously told police that he was the one who found Bobbi Kristina face down in the tub, not Gordon.
Bobbi Kristina's incident is eerily similar to the death of her mother. Houston was found dead in a filled bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Feb. 11, 2012. She was 48 years old when she died.
On Monday, Gordon uploaded a photo of his new "Bobbi Kristina" tattoo and asked people to continue praying for his girlfriend.
"Thank you for all your prayers. She is a strong person and will pull through this. Continue to pray for her," he tweeted.
