Suge Knight Told Judge He is Going Blind and Can't 'Really Comprehend,' Fires Lawyers (VIDEO)

Marion "Suge" Knight was taken to a prison infirmary on Monday after he told a judge he can't see and can't "really comprehend" what is happening, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The rap mogul is being held on murder and attempted murder charges in a hit-and-run case. Knight spoke for the first time in court to announce David Kenner is no longer his attorney. Kenner was the second attorney defending Knight after the rapper fired James E. Blatt.

Knight, in an orange jumpsuit and glasses, addressed Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin. "Since I have been here, I've lost about 30 pounds," Knight told the judge, according to the L.A. Times.

"I can't really see," Knight said. "I can't really comprehend what's going on."

According to the L.A. Times, Knight at one point spoke over Brandlin and was rebuked for the interruption. Knight then continued to interrupt the judge and mumbled during the court proceeding. Knight also asked for a trash can and leaned over it.

After the hearing, Knight was transported to the infirmary. Last month, Knight was taken to a hospital twice, claiming he had stomach problems - both instances were after court hearings.

Knight did not attend the next hearing that had been scheduled.

Knight is accused of running over two men with his car in Compton on Jan. 29. According to NY Daily News, local businessman Terry Carter, 55, died and gang-member-turned-filmmaker Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, was injured. Knight also faces charges in another case in which prosecutors claim Knight and comedian Katt Williams stole a camera from a photographer on Sept. 5, 2014.

Brandlin ruled that both cases will be heard in the downtown Los Angeles courthouse, according to L.A. Times. The case involving the camera was being heard at the airport courthouse, but the judge thought moving the location would ease stress on staff and transportation staff for Knight.
