Emmy Nominations 2013 Full List: Jim Parsons and Others React To The Big News

Following the exciting announcement of this year's Emmy nominations, TV's biggest stars are sharing their reactions to the news.

"We're in such a good spot with it and our audience, things have gone so well," "The Big Bang Theory's" Jim Parsons told The Hollywood Reporter of the show's nom for Best Comedy. "Because of all that, and how long we've been on, there's something even more sweet about it; it feels even more of an honor getting to go. Every year that goes by there are more shows to choose from, and it seems that our odds would go down exponentially to be included."

Parsons, who is also nominated in the lead actor category for his role as Sheldon Cooper, hopes the show, which is up against three-time winner "Modern Family," will finally take home the award.

"You never know!" he said of the odds.

Co-star Mayim Bialik, who scored her second nomination for her role as Amy Farrah Fowler, also weighed in on the Emmy news.

"I'm as shocked as if Chuck Lorre were nominated as supporting actress," she joked to THR, referring to the show's creator. "I feel like I do not even belong."

Other celebs also made jokes about the honor. E! News compiled a list of the stars' silly statements that includes reactions from everyone from Jimmy Fallon to Amy Poehler.

"Honored to be nominated for an Emmy this morning," Fallon, who is nominated for Outstanding Variety Series for "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," said. "Takes the sting away from being snubbed by the ESPYs last night."

Fellow late-night Jimmy and nominee Jimmy Kimmel also joked saying, "It just goes to show you-good things happen to bad people."

SNL alum and "Parks and Recreation" star Amy Poehler added to the sarcastic banter saying "I appreciate the nominations. I love my job. But nice try, guys. I'm not falling for this old trick again."
