Hearts broke everywhere this week when Adam Levine announced his engagement to model Behati Prinsloo, and now the singer's lucky lady is spilling all the details about the "serious" proposal and their upcoming wedding.
"It was a one-knee thing," Prinsloo told ET Canada of the traditional proposal. "It was serious. It was very old school."
The Victoria's Secret stunner also gushed to Us Weekly about the ring, which Levine picked out himself.
"It was a surprise," she said of the oval-shaped diamond piece. "I forgot I slept with it on last night, and I woke up and went 'Oh hello.'"

Levine and Prinsloo first started dating one year ago after the Maroon 5 frontman ended a longtime relationship with model Anne Vyalitsyna. Now they'll be planning the perfect wedding, but Prinsloo admits they haven't started quite yet.
"I'm so laid back," she said. "My mind has been going but we haven't talked about anything! We're just so excited in this moment."
Despite the lack of solid plans, Prinsloo does know one thing about her nuptials.
"I want all of our friends and family there," she noted.
Levine, who is known for his bad-boy persona and frequent forays with supermodels, told Oprah that he'd love to settle down in an interview last month.
"I want to probably be married at some point," he said. "I don't feel pressure to get married. I think that when it's time, it's going to be obvious and I'm going to do it and I'm going to really enjoy it."
Levine and Prinsloo reportedly faced relationship troubles when the singer was spotted out with model Nina Agdal, but sources say he's sure his fiancé is the one.
"After Adam broke up with Behati, he couldn't stop thinking about her," a source told Us Weekly of their brief split last month. "He realized he really loved her and wanted to be with her."
