The boys of One Direction are used to fighting off crazy rumors, so it it's no surprise that bandmate Harry Styles was asked to clear up some speculations during an interview with British GQ.
In the magazine's September issue, Styles was asked about rumors that he was dating U.K. radio personality Nick Grimshaw.
"Oh, really? I didn't even know. We're not dating, no. We're just friends," he said, dismissing claims he's bisexual. "Me? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I'm not," he shared.
Styles, who is always making headlines for his relationships and his bad-boy reputation, also dished on what it's like living under that spotlight.
"Some of [the rumors] are funny. Some of them are ridiculous. Some of them are annoying. I don't want to be one of those people that complains about the rumors," the 19-year-old said. "I never like it when a celebrity goes on Twitter and says, 'This isn't true!' It is what it is; I tend not to do that.
"The only time it gets really annoying is that if you get into a relationship and you get into a place where you really like someone and then things are being written in the papers that affect them and how they see you; then it can get annoying."
Styles' comments could be a reference to his very public breakup with Taylor Swift. The couple openly dated for three months before splitting when rumors circulated in the press that Styles was cheating on the pop-country songstress.
Styles and Swift's relationship made headlines again this week when it was revealed that footage of the two together was allegedly cut from One Direction's upcoming flick "This Is Us."
"There was no way Taylor would appear. Fans don't want to see it," a source told the Mirror. "He is done with talking about her and the management do not want to annoy Taylor any more. This was a no-brainer."
"This Is Us" hits theaters Aug. 30.
