Justin Bieber Tour Bus: Pop Star Busted For Drug Possession in Border Search?

When it comes to bad press, it looks like Justin Bieber just can't catch a break.

After recently making headlines for questionable stunts like peeing in a mop bucket, clubbing underage, and spitting off a balcony, the pop star has now been busted for toting drugs on his tour bus.

According to the Detroit Free Press, authorities found marijuana on Bieber's bus during a search as the vehicle attempted to cross into Detroit from Canada.

Keith Hammond, the chief officer of public affairs for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Detroit, said drug-detecting dogs discovered a small amount of the substance, as well as drug paraphernalia. According to Hammond, Bieber was not on the bus at the time of the search. The drugs were seized, the driver was given a civil penalty and he and the other passengers were all released.

Bieber was able to perform his scheduled show at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena with no problem.

According to Rolling Stone, this is not the first time Bieber's crew have been busted for marijuana possession. During an international tour date in Sweden, authorities raided the teen sensation's bus and discovered drugs, as well as a stun gun. The drugs were reportedly sent to a lab, but no arrests were made.

Bieber was also reportedly spotted smoking the substance back in January and issued an apology tweet to fans, "I see all of u. I hear all of u. I never want to let any of you down. I love u. Thank u."

In the wake of Bieber's recent bad behavior, several celebs have weighed in on the pop star and how he should handle it.

"I told Justin to take a bit of time out and people aren't so obsessed with you," fellow pop star Miley Cyrus said in a recent interview. "When you're not around, all they want is your music. They want to see what the next thing is. But when your music is out, they just want to talk sh*t about you."
