Lady Gaga ARTPOP Release Date: Singer's Stylist Quits Before New Album, Says She Changes Clothes 12 Times a Day

From red lace to red meat, Lady Gaga's wardrobe is hard to keep up with—which is why the megastar's stylist, Nicola Formichetti, is allegedly throwing in the towel.

"She's going to be my BFF forever, but my ex-assistant Brandon is heading that project," Formichetti reportedly said, according to Women's Wear Daily. "I'm too busy with other commitments."

Formichetti also admitted Gaga's demands are just too hard to keep up with.

"I've done two albums with her, it's been like five years," he said. "You know, I'm always going to be involved somehow, but I cannot do it every day. She changes 12 times a day. It's insane."

Gaga is just coming back from a hiatus following February hip surgery, and the diva's fashion needs are likely to be at an all time high.

The songstress is set to release her new single "Applause," on Aug. 19, followed by a performance of the tune at the MTV Video Music Awards at the end of the month.

"I'll tell you that it is very fun and that it's full of happiness," Gaga recently told WWD of the new track. "What I'm saying in the song essentially is that I live for the applause. I live for the way you cheer and scream for me. Give me that thing that I love. Put your hands up, make them touch."

"ARTPOP" will be released in full, along with an interactive app, on Nov. 11.

"I had six months to beef up my brain and my body. I got to put a giant white or black sheet of paint over my whole canvas and I got to review ARTPOP again," she recently said of the album. "I was given the time to really be creative because it's a gazing process, it really is. I have to gaze into the work for long periods of time for it to be good."
