Amanda Seyfried may have been totally comfortable playing porn star Linda Lovelace in a brand new biopic, but that doesn't mean she wants her dad to see it.
"I don't want my dad to see my naked body ever," she said during a press conference Tuesday. "I'm going to sit through [the screening]... and cover his eyes. It's really only the nudity. I don't have a problem with him seeing me in violent situations. In sexual situations, it's a little tough, but it's more just the nudity. I think anybody can relate to that."
"I have to be on guard because my boobs might pop out and I have to shield him," she added at the movie's premiere, noting she'll be sure to grab the seat next to him.
While Seyfried played shy about her parents seeing the film, co-star Adam Brody said his are thrilled about it.
"They're pumped," the 33-year-old actor told People Magazine. "They're excited—my parents, particularly, which is sort of perverse, but great. They're proud of their little porn star."
Brody also dished on his sex scenes with Seyfried, telling Us Weekly that she made it easy.
"Everything you do is awkward for 20 minutes, and then you're doing it for 12 hours," he said. "I mean, the sex isn't that graphic, and also the tone is somewhat light and it's sort of a comedic scene... [Amanda's] great. She's the easiest person to work with, and she's incredibly talented."
Seyfried talked about the role in a recent interview with ELLE Magazine, admitting taking it on was a risk.
"I read the script and I was like, 'Wow, this is the riskiest thing that's happening [in Hollywood] right now'," she said. "The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career. At the same time, I was like, 'This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.'"
You can catch "Lovelace" in theaters Aug. 9.
