In the season six episode four of MTV's "Teen Mom 2," Chelsea Houska had a change of heart about her new custody agreement with Adam Lind while Leah Calvert and Corey Simms can't see eye-to-eye on theirs. Jenelle Evans continued to fight with her mother over custody of her son Jace, and Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin decided to give their marriage a fighting chance.
Houska's daughter, Aubree, came back from a visit with her dad, Lind, and acted out in school by scratching a friend. In a conversation with her dad Randy, Houska explained that this shift in Aubree's temperament after she spends time with Lind is the reason why she's attempting to reduce his visitation to weekly sessions at a visitation center - but she has a change of heart after seeing the center for herself.
"It's kinda sad," Houska told Randy. "It makes my heart hurt and I'm kind of emotional that I'm even here right now."
Meanwhile, Calvert experienced the same behavior in one of her twin daughters that she shares with her ex-husband Simms. After returning from her father's house, Aleeah Grace (Gracie) acted out while Calvert had a friend over. Calvert finally had enough and brought Gracie into another room in the house, closed the door and spanked her off-camera. On the phone with her sister later that night, Calvert confessed that she felt bad about spanking her young daughter and wished she was able to talk to Simms about it. When the exes finally did meet later in the episode, the conversation got heated when Simms accused Calvert of being an unfit mother again.
"I have trust issues," she told her ex. "I'm feeling like you're a threat to me."
Evans is preparing for her own custody battle with her mother. She saw a lawyer during the last episode about seeking full custody of her son Jace, but Barbara hasn't been served court papers yet and remains unaware that Jenelle is taking her to court. Barbara kept Evans from seeing Jace for a month and the two fought when Barbara picked up Jace because Barbara allows Jace to call her mom.
"He wants to live here, he told me," Jenelle told her mother. "He needs more time with his mother, that's why he's so distraught. He can call you mama, he can call you meme, but mom is my name."
Lowry and Marroquin still have issues in their marriage even though the couple is in therapy. On the phone with her friend Sterling, Lowry said the reason she thinks they're having problems is the couple rushed to get married and rushed to have a baby and didn't have time to work on their relationship first. Although the couple bickered, they both agreed on a rare night out together for dinner that they owe it to each other and their children to try to save their marriage.
"I do not want to hate you like Joe and I hate each other sometimes," Lowry told Marroquin, referencing her ex and her first son's father. "I never want it to get to that point."
