Renowned civil rights activist Rachel Dolezal has revealed that she is pregnant with her third child.
Dolezal told TMZ that she is now in her second trimester and is expecting a baby boy. However, she remained silent when asked about who the father of the baby is. She already has two sons, aged 21 and 13, the youngest of which was with ex-husband Kevin Moore.
Dolezal has been in the headlines for the past few months regarding questions about her actual origins. Her parents claimed back in June that she had lied about being black, and they even showed photos to prove that she was a pasty, blonde-haired child.
The controversy surrounding her actual ethnic background forced Dolezal to resign from her post as leader of the Spokane, Wash. Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) that same month.
Dolezal was also removed from the police oversight commission by the Spokane City Council for having an "intimidating and harassing behavior."
Besides being a civil rights activist, she has also worked as a teacher in various universities in the country such as North Idaho College, where she was an adjunct professor.
Dolezal also served as the director of education for the Human Rights Education Institute in Coeur d'Alene in Idaho, according to CNN.
