Michael Jackson's long-term physician Arnie Klein, who was a close friend with the late singer, has passed away at the age of 70.
Dr. Klein entered a Palm Springs hospital earlier this week because he was suffering severe abdominal pains, according to TMZ. He then died at the hospital Thursday night due to natural causes.
He and Jackson were good friends and would often vacation together. Klein was a dermatologist who was known as "the father of Botox," and he was not only a doctor to Jackson, but to several other celebrities as well, including Dolly Parton, Cher, Goldie Hawn, Sharon Stone and Elizabeth Taylor.
The only bad thing about his and Jackson's friendship is that Jackson would use him to help fuel his drug addiction, as Klein gave him several narcotic drug prescriptions under different aliases. Klein was the one who had injected Jackson with Demerol 51 times in the three months leading up to his death in 2009. He also would take Jackson to other facilities to get him Propofol, which is the same drug that eventually killed him.
Klein's relationship with the family has always been a little fishy, as several rumors have gone around for years claiming that he is the biological father of Jackson's oldest son, Prince. Back in 2013, Klein posted a photo to Facebook comparing his driver's license to a photo of Prince, writing "hmmmm" and pointing out just how much they looked alike while implying that he could be the biological father, according to the Daily Mail. Jackson had met Prince's mother, Debbie Rowe, through Klein because she was his medical assistant, so people do still believe these rumors to this day.
Ironically, before Klein passed, Prince took to Twitter Thursday to admit that Jackson may not actually be his biological father. Someone tweeted at him, saying, "Everyone knows you are a Rowe-Klein NOT a Jackson!!" to which Prince responded, "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb...I was raised by my dad with my brother and sister."
