iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C Are Coming to Boost Mobile In November

Apple's latest flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5S as well as the new low-cost iPhone 5C are set to launch for yet another service provider, the Sprint-owned Boost Mobile.

Boost Mobile has made a name for itself in the past few years as a leader in the no-contract wireless industry with its exclusive Monthly Unlimited plan with Shrinking Payments. The company announced today that it will offer the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C starting on November 8.

The news comes after a similar announcement from US Cellular, which announced on Friday that it would be offering the new smartphones from Apple as well. Last month, Virgin mobile anonounced the iPhone 5S and 5C would be available for its customers as well with $100 off retail pricing and $30/month plans.

Last month, Boost Mobile advertisements showing the iPhones leaked online. The announcement from the company today confirms the rumors that the device will be available for the service.

Boost will offer the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C with a contract-free "unlimited" plan that includes 2.5GB of full-speed data per month, with significantly diminished speeds occurring once you've exceeded that limit, according to GigaOM.

The news comes in the wake of rumors of slowing iPhone 5C sales, which have resulted in Apple telling its supply chain to slow down production of the device as it has failed, in recent weeks since its launch, to sell up to expectations.

The news broke earlier last week that the company had told two of its suppliers that it plans to cut orders for the 5C in the upcoming quarter. The reports, from unknown sources, indicate that the supply will be cut down and trimmed by less than 20 percent.
