Comedian Tracy Morgan said he "went to the other side" and spoke to God after the 2014 car crash that left him in a two-week coma. "This is not something I'm making up. Do you know what God said to me? He said, 'Your room ain't ready. I still got something for you to do.' And here I am, doing an interview with you," he told Complex.
The star admitted that he will never be normal again because of the crash, which took the life of James McNair, his longtime friend and fellow comedian.
"You don't die for a few weeks and then come back to normal, trust me," added Morgan. "Something's going to be missing, something's going to be missing, something's going to be gained — you just got to live your life after that.
Morgan is simply taking it one day at a time. He is currently starring in two television commercials for Foot Locker, according to Footwear News, and, in 2016, he'll take his comedy act on the road for the Picking Up the Pieces tour.
