Tina Fey is going to war in the first trailer for the forthcoming film "Whisky Tango Foxtrot." The "Saturday Night Live" alum and "The Wolf of Wall Street" actress Margot Robbie travel to Afghanistan and Pakistan in the film adaptation of Kim Baker's 2011 memoir, "The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan," according to Variety.
In the film, Fey plays a television journalist who gets sent to the Middle East because she is an "unmarried, childless personnel" at her cable news network.
"I just wanted out of my job, I wanted out of my mildly depressive boyfriend, just wanted to blow everything up," Fey says in the trailer.
When not reporting in the field, Fey meets and parties with Robbie's character, Tanya Vanderpoel. "It's so nice to have another woman in the house," Robbie tells Fey. "In Afghanistan, you're a serious piece of ass...In New York, you're like 6-7, here, you're a 9, borderline 10."
"What are you here?" asks Fey's character. "Like a 15?"
"Yeah," she admits.
The comedy also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Christopher Abbott, Martin Freeman and Alfred Molina. The film was written by Fey's "30 Rock" and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" collaborator Robert Carlock, and is directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa of "Crazy, Stupid, Love."
"Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" hits theaters March 4.
