Chris Brown Rep Calls Vegas Battery Accusations 'Unequivocally Untrue'

Chris Brown is fighting back against accusations that he punched a woman in the eye and took her cellphone during a private party at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Saturday, TMZ reported.

The alleged victim, Liziane Gutierrez, who admitted to sneaking her cellphone into the party, claims that the 26-year-old singer struck her after he noticed she was secretly taking photos of him. Gutierrez was escorted out of the party by Brown's private security, and she later contacted hotel security.

Brown's rep claimed that Gutierrez had a meltdown before making the accusations.

"Making false accusations seems to be a pattern of behavior for Ms. Gutierrez. Whatever her motives, her statements are unequivocally untrue," Brown's representative Nicole Perna explained to JustJared.com.

"Ms. Gutierrez was escorted out of the private after party at the Palms Casino Resort for being disruptive and out of control," the statement continued. "Once she was in the hallway, while waiting for Chris Brown's security to bring out her phone, she had a total meltdown - throwing her purse to the ground and claiming that she 'could buy everyone in the hotel,' as witnessed by numerous people waiting to get into the party. The Palms Casino Resort security also saw her wild behavior via hotel security cameras and immediately came up to the hallway to escort her out of the hotel."

"Her claim that she had her phone in her possession inside the after party and was able to take a photo causing an altercation with Chris Brown is a complete fabrication," the rep continued, adding that the woman's statements are "completely false and not based in reality."

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating the alleged assault and have confirmed that Brown is now the suspect of a misdemeanor battery investigation, according to TMZ. A photo published on the gossip site shows Gutierrez, a Brazilian model known for being a Kardashian lookalike, sporting a black eye.

Brown plans on slamming Gutierrez with a defamation suit, TMZ reported. The "Loyal" singer took to social media to defend himself late Saturday.

"Keeping my circle small in 2016! I'm done taking the care of grown ass men," Brown captioned a picture of himself. "And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow the f--k up!"

In June 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault against his then-girlfriend Rihanna. He finished up a five-year probation sentence last March.
