"My sister Marcy reminiscing w Joey (and Indy) about how they started the restaurant together nine years ago. What a beautiful blessing Marcy Jo's has been to our family and so many others," he wrote.

The restaurant that Rory, 50, is referring to is Marcy Jo's Mealhouse, a restaurant that the family established near their home in Pottsville, Tenn.

Joey has been spending most of her time in her hometown of Alexandria, Ind., bonding with family and friends as they prepare themselves for a life without the country and gospel singer.

"As Joey has had to learn to come to terms with what is happening to her body and what the future holds, it's been important to her to share some things that she wants me and our girls to remember after she's gone," Rory said in an interview with People.

Rory announced in October 2015 on his blog entitled "This Life I Live," that his wife has ended treatment for her cancer.

"Sometimes there just aren't enough surgeries - or doctors - or chemotherapies - or prayers. And you have to wipe the tears from your cheeks and say the words that you were hoping to never have to say...Enough," he wrote.

The couple is now set to release their final album, "Hymns That Are Important To Us" this Valentine's Day and are hoping that they will be able to attend this year's Grammy Awards after receiving a nod for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
