David Bowie wants his ashes to be scattered in Bali "in accordance with the Buddhist rituals" and leave most of his fortune to his two children and widow, supermodel Iman, according to his will that was filed in Manhattan on Friday.
Filed under his legal name David Robert Jones, the 20-page document states that his estate is worth $100 million, but his finances were not broken down. He left his SoHo home he shared with Iman to her, as well as half of the rest of his worth.
Meanwhile, his two other children Duncan and Alexandria will get 25 percent of his worth each. Additionally, the latter will get his Ulster County mountain home, according to the Associated Press.
The singer's long-time personal assistant Corinne Coco Schwab will receive $2 million, and another friend Marion Skene of Switzerland, who was also the nanny of his older child, will be getting $1 million.
Bowie created his will back in 2004, which was the same year when he had to cancel six shows after he suffered a heart attack. He also signed a codicil back in 2007, giving all his shares from a company called Possum Inc. to Schwab, according to the New York Daily News.
The influential performer passed away on Jan. 10 after a long-term battle with cancer at the age of 69, as HNGN previously reported.
His career spanned for four decades, releasing all kinds of music such as glam rock, art rock, soul, hard rock, dance pop, punk and electronica, to name a few.
