The Pokémon Sun and Moon series, which is going to be released in November this year, will feature new characters and pocket monsters. The series will also show Ash in new looks while the first generation pocket monsters are going to be upgraded with new skills.
The trailer of the Pokémon Sun and Moon series had shown Ash heading to Alola to study. Alola is going to be the main setting of the game. There, he will meet Professor Kukui and his classmates: Lillie (Kukui's assistant) along with Sophocles, Lana and Mallow who are all game's Trial Captains.
The series will feature two new pocket monsters that are ape inspired: the Oranguru that lives in the Alolan forest and the Passimian, which is a fighting type. A few first generations of Pokémon have been upgraded as well. They now have an access to new techniques call Z-Moves, Wired reported.
Pikachu will learn a new, more powerful attack called Catastropika. Evee, on the other hand can now use Extreme Eveboost, where it can borrow various powers from its potential evolution. The new trailer also showed an Alolan counterpart of Raticate.
Meanwhile, rumors said that the new Pokémon Sun and Moon playable demo will be featured on Milan Games Week, which will be happening on October 14-16, 2016. However, a Nintendo insider said on a press note in Italy that the demo will not appear in the show, as reported by The Bit Bag.
Moreover, the games to be released are going to be part of the franchise's 20th anniversary. It will be out on November 20 and will be the first Pokémon game available in nine languages. These include Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, English and Japanese.
The Pokémon Sun and Moon anime series will be out the United States early next year. The anime will also be broadcasted in the UK but the release date is still unknown.
