Stay tune for "Outlander" Season 3 as the opening scene underwent some gruesome changes with the grown up Fergus on board. Aside from that, Starz Network has officially released the official plot description for the newest season.
The upcoming season of "Outlander" will keep the fans and viewers hooked as there have been some changes made. According to International Business Times, showrunner Ronald D. Moore made the opening scene of the 3rd season much "more gruesome" than what Diana Gabaldon's "Voyager" novel has described.
Aside from that, "The Walk" alum Cesar Domboy has officially landed a role in "Outlander" Season 3. Entertainment Weekly reported that the 26-year old French film and TV actor will play the adult version of Fergus Fraser.
Fergus is a young man who was born in a brothel and raised in an unconventional upbringing there. He has grown up to be a charming and devilishly romantic man who wears his heart on his sleeve.
As for the official plot synopsis of "Outlander" Season 3, Den of Geek notes, "Claire travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. Now pregnant, she struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank.
Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. As the years pass, Jamie and Claire attempt to make a life apart from one another, each haunted by the memory of their lost love.
The budding possibility that Claire can return to Jamie in the past breathes new hope into Claire's heart... as well as new doubt. Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other."
As of now, the production of "Outlander" Season 3 is currently underway. The newest season premieres on April 1, 2017, first and exclusive on Starz Network.
