Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott has checked himself into rehab, which lead to a devastating confession to wife.
According to PerezHilton.com, McDermott told Spelling he cheated on her with five women in the past two years. McDermott also came clean about not using protection when he engaged in the affairs.
"Making matters worse, Dean admitted to not always using protection during the encounters. It's the ultimate betrayal for Tori and she probably won't be able to ever forgive him for that. It's one thing to cheat, but another to have unprotected sex," a source told the gossip blogger.
"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," McDermott said in a statement to PEOPLE. "I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."
Hollywood Life reports Spelling is taken her husband cheating as a sign she has "let herself go" and pushed McDermott away.
"Tori's all over the place, she's sad, she's angry, she's blaming Dean but also herself," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Dean has told her that this has nothing to do with her, that he still loves her and thinks she's hot, but she's questioning everything. Her self-esteem is shattered. She doesn't spend money on herself these days, it's all for the kids, but she's talking about getting a major makeover."
Spelling is reportedly blaming herself not taking "care" of herself after the couple had kids. According to Hollywood Life's source, Spelling wants to get back in shape to look "thin" and "sexy" for McDermott.
"She worries that she let herself go too much because of the kids, and that's why Dean cheated. And she's going on a diet because she knows Dean thinks it's hot when she's really thin," the source says. "Her friends are trying to tell her she's sexy the way she is but her confidence has taken a huge hit."
