'Guardians of the Galaxy' Releases 25 New Images As Director James Gunn Confirms Production Is Complete (PHOTOS)

"Guardians of the Galaxy" has released new images from the film just as director James Gunn announced production finally wrapped.

Gunn took to his officially Facebook account to confirm he has completed "Guardians of the Galaxy" just one month before the film's release.

"Well, other than finalizing the 3D, I'm officially wrapped on Guardians of the Galaxy and on my way to the airport to fly to Singapore to begin the press wing of this journey," Gunn wrote. "I saw some amazing VFX shots today to wraps things up. I couldn't be feeling more gratitude and love for all the people who have helped create this film. However the audiences take it, there's not a single dishonest or impure bone in Guardians' cinematic body - and that's a hell of a thing for a spectacle film of this size with so many people involved. Best experience of my life. Thank you all."

The production has since released 25 new images from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" film. Check out all of the photos from the Marvel movie here.

Gunn's previously posted a Facebook rant about having to end the production on the film. He admitted he would miss the crew of people he had grown close two while working on the film for more than two years. The director also claimed he was emotional and "teary-eyed" while writing the post on June 28.

"I swear, I've gotten angry with filmmakers like Ridley Scott and George Lucas who can't let go of their old films and want to keep going back and offering up different versions, but I can easily see myself doing that now," Gunn wrote in a Facebook post.

"This is essentially my last week of actually making Guardians of the Galaxy. It's been two years straight and I've starting to become terrified of actually having to STOP. But on July 7 I leave for Singapore to begin the press tour so I suppose I really have no choice."

"Guardians of the Galaxy" stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly and more. The Marvel film will be released to theaters on Aug. 1.
