With the new iPhone 5S likely to debut on Sept. 10 rumors are flying left and right about exactly what Apple will do to wow its fans. One of the most commonly accepted thoughts on the subject is the company will unveil a new golden or "champagne" colored iPhone to show off the brand's high-end nature going forward. A new video potentially shows exactly what the iPhone 5S will look like in gold.
While the video looks pretty legitimate, especially given the duel LED flash that is clearly visible at one point in the 3:27 minute run. The newest iPhone doesn't boast many new specs but the inclusion of a dual LED flash is one of them, further giving credence to the rumor of a gold iPhone 5S.
However, it's important to note that nothing official has been mentioned by Apple, it would just make sense for these rumors to be true as sales of iOS products have gone down in anticipation of the Sept. 10 release. If the company wasn't planning on revealing the device in the next week or so, it would likely try and combat these rumors.
The real question is what will be the part of the segment that wows audiences members. While the unveiling of the iPhone will go a long way to quieting fan's insatiable appetite for all things Apple. As the Register points out, the late founder Steve Jobs used to like to add one more thing to the end of each unveiling.
Likely it could be the iPhone C, a low-cost plastic backed iPhone that will come in a variety of colors. Although it won't be as top-of-the-line as the iPhone 5S, it will be significantly more affordable.
While the iPhone C is the likely topper candidate, fans refuse to rule out the possibility of the iWatch finally being recognized by the company. Rumors have been circulating about Apple designing a wearable tech device for quite some time and patents filed on the name and new hires for the company only lend credence to these rumors. However, Apple has never acknowledged the project. With it's rival Samsung unveiling a similar smartwatch six days prior to Apple's press event, Sept. 4, it would make sense for the company to at least get people excited about its wearable tech device too.
