Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date: Watch The Company's Unveiling Of The New Phablet And Galaxy Gear Smartwatch (LIVESTREAM)

Samsung is set to host is second "Unpacked" event of 2013 this Wednesday on September 4 in Berlin at this year's IFA conference. It is here that the company will unveil the Galaxy Note 3 and its first foray into wearable technology, the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch. The event will be live streamed below as well as HERE at its official Youtube channel at 7 p.m. Berlin time (1 p.m. EST).

The company has announced that it will be unveiling its wearable wrist accessory at this event. According to an early hands on look by Venturebeat, the watch will come with an high-quality OLED display with a square screen. It will be about 3-inches diagonally with a rectangular shape and rounded corners. It comes in a basic black color with grey accent features. The wrist strap will perhaps be the device's biggest draw with small speakers hidden in the clasp. It is called the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which means it will act as a great companion to anyone who already has a smartphone in the Galaxy family. However, it will be able to store pictures and e-mails on its own, without being augmented by a smartphone device.

Meanwhile the Galaxy Note 3 is scheduled to make a debut at the event as well. The device has been partially leaked in recent weeks with high-end smartphone internals such as the Snapdragon 800 for the LTE variant and the new Exynos 5 Octa in non-LTE versions. It will also sport a high level of RAM and a camera that will probably be an upgrade on that of the Galaxy S4 to 13 megapixels with OIS, according to rumors reported by AndroidCentral. Finally, it would be impossible to forget the phablet's rumored 5.68-inch screen size.

The press event kicks off tomorrow and can be viewed below or HERE at the company's official YouTube channel.
