In anticipation of her upcoming digital newsletter "Lenny" and her interview with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Lena Dunham stopped by Clinton's headquarters with "Funny or Die" and ran into fellow female comedian, Amy Schumer.
In the sketch, Dunham arrived at the Clinton's office unannounced to interview the former Secretary of State. At the receptionist's desk Dunham ran into "Trainwreck" star Schumer, who was also there to see Clinton. After Schumer realized Dunham did not have a meeting scheduled with Clinton, she left her in the dust and went to see the candidate without Dunham present.
"Funny or Die" also released another clip of Dunham's upcoming interview with Clinton where they discussed Lenny Kravitz's pants splitting on stage.
"I thought this was an interview with Lenny Kravitz," Clinton told Dunham, referring to the name of her newsletter.
"Did you see the footage of where his pants split," Dunham asked.
"No, I missed that," Clinton said before she jokingly asked Dunham where she could check out the footage.
The full interview with Dunham and Clinton premieres Sept. 29.
