With Jill Duggar-Dillard and Jessa Duggar-Seewald's new three-part TLC special "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" premiering soon, it was only a matter of time before the family fully addressed the cheating scandal that left their brother Josh in a rehabilitation center for his porn addiction. While the family has been open about the molestation scandal, involving Jill, Jessa and several other underage girls, that came out to the public earlier this year, it is his wife Anna who has been relatively quiet about the cheating aspect of his troubled life. In a new promo for "Counting On," she finally breaks her silence.
"It was heartbreaking to hear what had happened," a teary-eyed Anna, 27, says to the camera. "I cried a lot of tears," Jill, 24, says, while Jessa, 23, adds, "Somebody who you love, how could this happen?"
The scandals rocked the "19 Kids and Counting" stars' lives, and when word got out about Josh being involved in the headline-breaking Ashley Madison hack, people were still unsure if Anna would be staying with Josh now that he had publicly cheated on her, but Jill and Jessa's special seems to focus on this time of recovery for the family.
"We're getting through this," Jessa continues to say in the clip while Jill adds, "We will come out of this fire."
"After some challenging months Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald are ready to look towards the future," the official "Counting On" site reads. "'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' follows the lives of the sisters as they navigate adulthood and the changes that come with it. From Jill and Derick making a major move to Central America with their baby boy Israel, to newlyweds Jessa and Ben preparing for their first child, we're excited to see what's in store for the young couples."
In the first promo for the special, the sisters touched on the emotions they felt after being victims of the incident that changes their family forever. "The whole world was shocked," Jill said. "You're angry and hurt and all those emotions mixed together." But the two continue to shed positive light on this troubled situation. "We're excited for what the future holds," Jill added. "We will come out of this fire stronger as a family unit."
"Counting On" premieres Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. on TLC. The other two parts will air on Dec. 20 and Dec. 27 at 9 p.m. Watch the latest promo below!
