Lisa Ling Expecting Baby No. 2 With Husband Paul Song

Lisa Ling has got another baby on the way. The 42-year-old award-winning journalist is expecting her second child with husband Paul Song, a CNN representative told People Magazine.

No additional information about Ling's pregnancy - including how many months along she is or the baby's due date - has been available. The "Our America" host will reportedly take a break from her show before returning for the fifth season, according to People.

Ling and Song, a 50-year-old oncologist and biotech firm president, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Jett, in March 2013. As previously reported by HNGN, the former "The View" host gave birth to her daughter via C-section because the umbilical cord was wrapped around the child's neck.

After getting married in 2007 Ling and Song tried to conceive but suffered multiple miscarriages. Ling told Us Weekly that the arrival of their first child was a surprise to her and Song because she wasn't trying to get pregnant.

"My travel schedule is erratic, and I only saw Paul once a month, so it was a shock. We had considered adoption, but we got very lucky. We believe this is the child we were supposed to have," Ling said at the time.

During a June 2014, interview with Today's Parent Magazine, Ling opened up about the struggles of being a working mother in America and gushed about her husband for being an amazing partner.

"I think the idea that women can have it all is an impossible notion," Ling explained. "Any mother who works has moments of guilt because they are not with their baby all the time. Every time I walk out of the door, it kills me, every time. I miss her. More than I ever miss anyone, more than I knew I could miss anyone. But I feel so strongly what I do, I'm so passionate about it. I hope one day that my daughter feels proud of me and my work.

"I'm lucky I have great help. My husband doesn't travel that much. He is amazing; he cooks for everyone and bathes her every night. I feel so fortunate that I have a partner that is so spectacular because without a support network I wouldn't be able to do it."
