Elisabeth Hasselbeck bid an emotional farewell during her final appearance on "Fox and Friends" on Tuesday morning, after announcing last month that she would step down as host so she could spend more time with her family.
"I love you all dearly. Steve (Doocy) and Brian (Kilmeade), thank you. Thank you so much. I've been so blessed by all of you," Hasselbeck said. She joined the show in 2013 after hosting ABC's "The View" for more than a decade, according to Fox News Insider.
The show's producers, writers and set workers created a tribute video for the departing host, filled with some of her best moments with the show for the past two years.
"She came around and shook everyone's hand individually and learned everyone's names right away," one producer said, the Daily Mail U.K. reported.
Another staffer shared: "The best part of Elisabeth, beyond all the laughs, is her ability to stand up for herself and never ever let anyone take her down. She is tough as nails and she is a role model for all of us."
Hasselbeck announced that she would step down as co-host of the show in November. She has three children - Grace Elisabeth, 10, Taylor Thomas, 8, and Isaiah Timothy, 6 - with husband Tim, who is a former ESPN analyst and NFL quarterback.
