Warner Bros. Games recently released the latest installment of its "Batman" franchise with the launch of "Batman: Arkham Origins." The game is packed with activities, achievements and, of course, Easter eggs. The game is full of small winks to the game franchise and the Gotham universe in general that fans might find very interesting and worth backtracking to check out. We've already covered many of these HERE (Vol. 1), HERE (Vol. 2), HERE (Vol. 3) and HERE (Vol. 4). Check out our newest list, courtesy of IGN.
Scarecrow: During 'The Final Offer" The Penguin's personal ship contains a lot of Easter eggs. On a wall on the ship a small flyer with Jonathan Crane AKA the Scarecrow, can be found. The flyer is advertising a research study and is looking for participants. Origins is a prequel and Arkham Asylum doesn't exist yet this shows Crane's early obsession with fear and gives a better timeline as to when he started experimenting on subjects.
Cyrus Pickney Plaques: Legendary Gotham architect Cyrus Pickney's legacy can be uncovered by looking through a series of collectible plaques that are hidden throughout the game's map. You can find all these locations HERE via IGN.
Rejected Assassins: In the Sionis Steel Mill, located in the loading bay depot, there are books on a desk that read "Cheshire," "David Cain" and "Black Spider" on them with red "REJECTED" stamps on them. This hints that they are the ones who were passed over for assassination jobs.
The Joker's Infinite Dance: This is less of an Easter egg and more of a funny built-in gaff. If you refrain from punching the Joker during the final encounter and can resist his taunts, he'll simply dance in place until you're ready to clobber him. You can walk around him, move the camera and do all kinds of things to have fun with his cheeky dance before taking him down.
