Anna Paquin Slams Body Shamers On Twitter (TWEETS)

Anna Paquin arrived at the premiere of the animated film "The Good Dinosaur" on Tuesday wearing a floral black dress and yellow shoes. The "True Blood" actress looked stunning in the ensemble, but Internet trolls thought otherwise, posting negative comments and calling her "fat" and "pregnant."

The actress took to Twitter to slam the body-shamers. "Fun fact: Wearing a dress that is not skintight=Pregnant/invites people 2 call u fat. I'm neither so thanks 4 that," she wrote on Wednesday, accompanied with a picture of herself with her husband Stephen Moyer at the premiere, according to People.

"People who bravely hide behind computers and pass judgement have informed me my pale skin and dark hair=old/ugle/harsh," she said in the following tweet, according to Refinery29.

The actress' fans and followers came out in support of the 33-year-old, telling her to ignore the critics and saying that she looked beautiful. "Sorry if this feels like blatant compliment fishing," Pacquin tweeted, "really not my intention but do appreciate the love xo."

Last week, "Modern Family" star Ariel Winter was in a similar situation, and shut down body-shamers who suggested the actress was "asking for it" after she posted a picture of herself in a bikini on Instagram, as HNGN previously reported.
